Gala Corina: 2005 [Verde]
Verde was our first event outside of the fall season. This event was billed as a benefit and fundraiser to help us recover costs for a past event, and to increase awareness that we were planning an event for November 2005.
Even though it was only a one night affair organized on short notice, the turnout was great. We are indebted to the group at Czar in Ybor for their generosity and support. Without them, we still would have been facing some fairly daunting times.
The event featured musicians, poets and a fashion show. The strong local talent appeared courtesy of their own desire to support the arts in Tampa Bay. Their commitment and the visitors attendance reminded us why we continue to organize these events in the bay area.
